Thank You So Very Much using Storybook Friends

This card was so fun to put together.  I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.  It’s not exact, but that’s what I love so much about a sketch….it’s a great springboard to get me started.  And after not feeling well for several days, I really needed something to get me started.  {By the way, the stomach bug that is going around right now is absolutely aweful!} I also used the @globaldesignproject color challenge which includes pretty in pink, poppy parade and pebbled path for inspiration.  There are so many challenges and groups on facebook that you can find to provide inspiration and/or challenge you, so that we can use up all of the amazing supplies we buy!!! 🙂

FIND OUT HERE HOW TO MAKE THE CARD…  On this card, I have used cut out ephemera from the 12X12 designer series paper, a stamp (Thank You So Very Much!} and the frame is a diecut in poppy parade and then I fussy cut around the pretty in pink designer series paper to create a background.  The take your pick tool with the brush end is very handy to use to get all the little “stuffies” out.  I used a nail file sand block to sand the cardstock and pattern pieces of paper since the ephemera diecut was washed out.  You can check out the supplies I used at the bottom of the post.  And this card is so easy to make…..you just need a hotdog card of pebbled path (4 1/4 in by 11 in and score at 5 1/2 in).  Then, you’ll need 3 ….1 1/4 in by 5 strips of pebbled path designer series paper.  All other pieces of cardstock are scraps.
