We’ve made it to Card #3 in my Square Corner Fun Fold series, and I think this Perennial Lavender version is such a pretty way to finish!

Over the past few days, I’ve been sharing three completely different cards created with the same Square Corner Fun Fold. That’s one of the things I love most about finding a great fun fold—you can change the Designer Series Paper, colors, embellishments, and little details and suddenly the same fold has a completely different personality.
For this final card, I pulled out my Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper. The combination of soft lavender florals, natural tones, and deep greens gives this birthday card such a warm, elegant feel. An oldie, but a goodie. This designer series paper is no longer available to purchase, but I know you could use something else in your stash if you don’t have this one.
It’s All About the Layers
There are so many little details on this card that work together.

I layered several of the Perennial Lavender patterns, added a large scalloped circle tucked behind the front panel, and finished the card with a generous bow. The simple Happy Birthday circle from the Scalloped Blooms Bundle keeps the greeting front and center without competing with those beautiful papers.
And then, of course, there’s the fun part—the Square Corner Fun Fold!
When you open the card, you get that unexpected layout with plenty of room to continue the Designer Series Paper inside. I added another small floral panel and a coordinating strip along the writing area so the inside feels just as special as the outside. I only glued the corner strip around 3 edges so that you could place a gift card inside the corner or an extra little tag too.

The inside sentiment reads:
Wishing you a day of relaxation, happiness, and love.
Perfect for a birthday card!
One Fold—So Many Possibilities
That’s really what I hoped to show you with this three-card series.
You don’t need a completely new card design every time you sit down to create. Find a fold or layout you love and use it again!
Change the paper, colors and occasion
Pull out something from your stash.
You’ll be amazed at how different the finished cards can look.
And if you missed Cards #1 and #2 in my Square Corner Fun Fold series, be sure to go back and take a peek so you can see all three versions.
If this fold has inspired you, save the tutorial/template and try making one with the Designer Series Paper you already have in your stash.
Happy stamping!
Sandi
